Janisse Browning Janisse Browning, a writer with both Native and African roots, will participate in the Origin of the Blues panel (Saturday afternoon at The Gathering) which will explore the influence of Native people on the origins of the Blues in the southern States. Her family came to Canada by way of the underground railroad. |
